"Sanitized" has a specific definition to it. Just because something isn't techically sanitized, doesn't mean it is not very very clean to the point that it allows healthy fermentation

Sometimes I just can't be bothered writing in Croatian, and I have no problem if someone can't be bothered reading my English ; )
I've read on this forum multiple times that chemipro oxi can't be used for sanitzing . after 1000 bottles, I know it can.
As homebrewers, the best we can hope for using any homebrew product is sanitizing. We can never reach true sterilisation.
Starsan is not the only choice.

Of course this is just my informed opinion.

so this is mostly sodium percarbonate which is used for cleaning, not sanitizing. you can find it in Vanish and other oxy products for laundry

of course if you clean well enough you shouldnt have problems with infections. i think part of your sucess is due to usage of hot water with it

i personally mix it with izosan so i get cleaning and sanitizing done in one step

I bet I can find way more articles on the danger of phosphoric acid. ; ).

I'm not trying to convince anyone to use chemipro, I'm just saying it appears to sanitize all my equipment and bottles thoroughly without any negative effects. There's barely a trace of it left after draining.
