I haven't tried wakatu either, it was 22 kuna at beershop. Apparently a new zealand halertaur with lemon and lime characteristics.
Wait until I make my Kulen d' Gang beer. The taste of kulen, in a beer : ) maybe[/quote]
Bolje malo pivo nego veliko hvala

He he he!
Grle, uvijek me najavljuješ ko da sam ajatolah gingera.

I will change the name of the beer to Crazy Redhead, Australian Ginger Wheat Beer.

Using only a roasted barley for coloring is a gr8 idea to get the red notes in beer. You will probably have to make few batches to figure just the right amount to make it red but not too dark.
I would also suggest you to add some irish moss to make it less blurry red.
Doubling the orange peel amount might be a good idea. Also, use just the outer part of a peel because the white part might add bad flavors.
Do not use the remaining orange juice in beer.

Yeah I noticed in some red ale recipes that they use the roasted barley to get the red colour so I thought I'd give it a shot.
Already removed the pith from the peel and yep, thinking to add more, but maybe lemon and lime as well.
I don't like radler, so definitely no juice in my beer !! ; )
I don't have any clearing agents, and I won't be able to get any by tomorrow, but the combo of my fine mesh biab bag and cold crashing before bottling makes for a decently clear beer.
I'm going to test the ginger burn a couple of days into fermentation and if it needs more, I'll add it, if it needs less..... too late, but I can always back sweeten with some unfermentables to smooth it out.

Fermented orange juice will not taste like radler.
I heard it leaves vomit-like aroma and you definitely do not want that in your beer.
I would say 2:1 or 3:1 peel:coriander is a good ratio to begin with.
Nothing wrong with mixing in some grapes or lemons, but maybe you already have enough different flavors here
Also, you will have to crush the coriander seeds. I recommend doing this in an old hop plastic bag or something similar.
